Been doing some reading. Appears the new trend in overlanding is to Pelfry your customers. Seems that trend has spread to trailer manufacturer Moby1 and Inka. Such a shame that just building a product someone has put a $20k deposit on is so damn hard. I mean damn it doesn't cost anywhere near $20k to build a teardrop trailer. I guess telling someone you're going to do your job is just too much of a hassle these days. Both entities are now shut down with customers in limbo about how to try getting their money back.

 

Got an appointment at Bert Ogden Toyota to go check out the new Rav4. My dad told me to negotiate numbers, and to bring them down $1000 so he can buy me the new iPhone XR.

Any tips? They quoted me $34,500 for the XLE premium after tax, and licensing.

 

How much more is that than the other one y'all had?

Tell them what you're willing to pay, and hold steady.

 

My dad paid $34,000 for the base XLE after financing, and fees.

I will offer $31,500 for the XLE premium, gallon of Toyota coolant, hood scoop insert, and an oil filter.

In all seriousness, we do not want a monthly payment above $610 for a 60 month loan.

 

If my calculations are correct, $31,500 adds up to $36,259 after 8.25% tax, $800 legal fees, and with 3.9% APR.

About the date change cant happen but shes up for looking at places during the week before for SPI. Would you be able to cruise that way could have dinner with us, our treat.

Edit: Surfside is over in the Galveston area... a little too far. We'll just meet up somewhere else, our chances of going to UT are pretty high, as our teacher is one of the best in the state.
