for street driving they work fine, Hit a driveway dip a bit fast the other night while turning in and got some rub on the back edge of the front bumper/wheel liner, minimal (about a 1/2" wide spot) but it shows that I'll need to trim some plastic's if I don't want to rub while off road. will edit this post with a picture of the area later.

Sweet, awesome. Thats some good news, I've got an ARB on front so I shouldn't have to worry about rubbing on the front then. Thanks!

Just noticed your in a 2nd gen, not positive but I thought I read somewhere that you guys sit 1" lower than 3rd gens from the factory. If so it would definitely cause rubbing in the back of the front fender as well. Might ought have the tire place mount one tire and test fit it before buying them. I know Discount tire will do this.

I have a 2nd gen on 295/70/17s with a 3" lift up front, 4.85" backspacing wheels and they rub everything. I got a cmc, hammered pinch weld flat, and trimmed plastic. They still rub ucas, lcas, and frame rail at full lock. Also dont play nice with my fender flares off road.

Im also running an ARB bumper for reference

Ah yikes really? I'm running an ARB as well with a similar setup as far as lift goes, I'm not sure on my wheel backspacing though. Which tires are you running?

Update on what I've been doing to the taco lately.
Took of the TRD exaust, shift knob and pro grille, replaced them with stock exaust, shift knob and an SR grille. Also ordered a CBI T3 bumper with the low center hoop (expected late April but probably May) and since the upgrade to 295's I've been feeling the power loss so I ordered 5.29 gears (expected early March)
Here it is with the new SR grille

after a lot of reading, it just makes sense, the two overdrive gears in the 3rd gen auto make it almost the same in 6th gear as a stock manual trans but in the lower gears it will have tons more torque. Also preps me for 35's if i decide to go bigger later down the road.
