3rd Gen Magnetic Gray Thread

I had a local fabricator make me a rack that would work with my cover. I have the Baklip MX4. Nothing exists that can let you use both.

The Bak series uses the mounting points of the factory rail to mount, and then you mount your rail a little bit lower onto the tonneau mounts.

 

Works now. Looks great.

Bilstein 5100s with 888 OME's still holding up almost 200lbs of weight up front. Might upgrade to a heavier coil eventually, but for now it gets the job done.

 

Got a little dirty today.

 

This is the exact lift I am looking at with same tire and size. It looks great! What did the actual lift come out to in the front and rear. Also did you leave your overload spring in the rear? How’s the ride on the 5100’s. Can’t decide between that and the ome. Thanks for the info!

love the de-badging, mine are coming off. I was going to black them out but now I see yours looks better without them.

 

Thanks. The front from the ground up is at 38.5” and the rear sits at 39”
I kept the overload spring in, in the rear

I know there’s better suspension out there, but for the price, I’m happy with the ride. It’s definately more stiff, but not to the point where it’s uncomfortable for me or my wife.

 

Thanks, I was going to black mine out as well but decided that removing them was easier. Plus I don’t have to clean inbetween the lettering which is also easier.

 

What size spacers are you running in this pic? Looks good!
