Does anyone know how much weigh you can load the bed up with? I have a DC Short Bed (5ft) with a topper. Going to pick up 1100 Sqft of flooring.

yeah that was concern. My truck is 16 years old with factory leaf springs. They are not frowning, but they aren't smiling either.

 

The pics you posted of your flat leafs say otherwise.

You do know that a snorkel would only kept your engine from inhaling water. (If sealed properly) it wouldn't help you cross deep water if you lose traction. also your ecu would of fried and who knows what else from the surge.

So if let's say the snorkel did it's job that's only 1/10th of the possibilities of fubar you face in deep water crossings. So regardless turning your truck off was probably a smart move in the situation. But getting out of the truck and wading in through the water regardless how shallow it looked is rule #1 in water crossing.

 

So i should wade through every pothole full of water i see when going down the road?
