Might be pulling the trigger on those new scs ray10s when they drop. Due for new tires as well. I have 285/70/17s on there now and am debating if I want to keep that size or go up to 285/75s. I don't rub currently with my 887's and current 5.5"bs and -24 offset wheels. With the new wheels being 3.5"bs and -38" offest ,I'm assuming I'll have to do cmc and hammer the pinch weld?

Most likely, yes. If you need a CMC done I do them for local members for fairly cheap.

Better to do it before the wheels and tires to just prevent rub altogether or do it after?

I prefer to do it beforehand. The chance of rubbing is so high, might as well. Same with trimming plastic and stuff. I do a preliminary clearancing, and then do more if needed. I just wanna be able to leave the tire shop without it being rub city.

Just spent 4 days in Miami...What the hell is this weather I came home too!?

@EatSleepTacos Tires should be going on friday (Hopefully) Sounds like Gen 3's are hit or miss when it comes to fitting 285s, Seems like some guys fit them with barely any problems and it sounds like some guys have to trim and push everything so we will see!
