not bad at all. my truck was basically stock at the time minus the rtt and bedrack lol. its a pretty easy trail. almost a dirt road. great drive though. spent a day and night at usal, then went up the trail in the morning. spent the day driving and taking alot of breaks to hang out. found a camp along the trail and stayed a night there. then pushed into the town the following morning before headed out

Hahaha does look like a porch. It will be closed off. Little storage area for camp stuff, propane and battery

I might have to put a chair up there tomorrow for a pic lol

True. Before adding this, the tongue weight was only the spare tire pretty much. SUPER light up front. So this should help

I missed them by less than an hour, was at working checking my phone, then had to go deal with some disaster at a different job site so I couldn’t check for less than 3 hours and they had sold out :(

I think the dual color lights lasted maybe 5-10 minutes. I ended up getting the wrong ones shipped to me, but it’s getting taken care of.

Anyone here ever made a battery box? Or anything that will secure a battery a little better then the stock application?
I'm running a yellow top on my 2nd gen. And its significantly smaller then my stock battery.

we used these TG battery boxes quite a few times on some builds at the shop i worked at in Visalia. they work awesome and hold the battery extremely well. alot of the rigs we put them on were straight up crawlers and never had any bad comments on them after the trucks were completely sideways or anything lol. and they're not a bad price at all

i will be running a battery, propane tank and a fresh water tank on it at some point. battery will be inside this storage area that im putting up front, along with an inverter. propane will either be inside the same thing or will be on the tongue in front of the storage area. my plan for fresh water is an RV/Camper fresh water tank mounted underneath (where the gas tank was) with a 12v pump. the inlet and outlet ports will come out of the stock fuel cap location

also, when i got the cab over, it came with a propane line. probably about 10-12 feet of it :) so really i can have the tank anywhere semi accessible and still be able to hook up the grill or whatever. inside i will have my Mr. Buddy heater and use the small green tanks on that so wont need to run a propane line inside

I used a mr. heater buddy to heat my VW camper. Even with the canvas of the pop-up we only used the pilot light at night. Keep us comfortably warm even the night we woke up to 6" of snow.
