Good point about the use of light bulbs as heaters. Lots of people have light bulbs in their gun safes to keep away the moisture.

Yes, those halogen bulbs DO produce a lot of heat. I've got a couple of halogen work lights and there's a warning label saying "Not For Indoor Use". Problem with halogen bulbs is they're so darn easy to break.

I don't understand this irrational fear of space heaters. Yes, they do cause a lot of fires, but in the overwhelming majority of cases, it was because people did stupid things like putting them too close to flammable materials and forgetting about them, or leaving them where their pets could knock them over. The halogen work light is essentially the same as a radiant space heater, with the added bonus of visible light. I'm looking at a space heater that has kept my toes from freezing in winter for the last 15 years or so. It hasn't tried to kill me or burn down the building yet.

Installed the Prinsu cabrac last night. Will have to get a better picture when I get home, but for now, here's a telescope shot from our office to the parking lot ;)

So when people say "It looks pretty good if you're not standing too close..." This have something to do with that?

Not today, but taking her in tomorrow for an oil change and TSB-0062-18 update. The receptionist allegedly noted what I want done, so we’ll see what happens.

I thought I read somewhere on a TW thread that there is a sticker the Techs are suppose to place under the hood that reflects the update. Is this true? Would anyone happen to have a pic that I could reference? Thanks.

I’ll be sure to report back. I have my guard up with this dealership because of my last visit. I Specifically said I wanted the oil changed. Luckily my Dad taught me to always check the dip stick before leaving, because they didn’t change the oil. Good thing my buddy is the GM of Sales. But the experience still leaves me leery.
