Perhaps it’s not actually amber from an incandescent turn signal.

Maybe the turn signal is that lense below the LED array (which I assume is low beam only) and they put a halogen high beam on it where it looks to be an amber reflection.

    Could be.

Most LED arrays have high and low beam together.

Sorry, got ahead of myself since I'm an Android user. It should've read Apple Carplay (with HOPES that AA will just be a simple software upgrade).

No they didnt, Silver Sky was available in 2015 as well. But there was an earlier silver, Silver Streak Mica or SSM which was prior to Silver Sky, it just carried over into the 3rd gens.

The Accord has it so that a segment of the reflectors are for low, and a segment are for high. The only time the entire array is lit up is when low and high beam are on.

It looks like there are only three on this Tacoma and that’s why I figured they we’re all low beam.

High beams are LED reflector too in these '20 lights

Interior looks pretty similar. The fox article is dumb, they aren't changing the cab, just the angle / lighting, same roofline. I'm guessing we are seeing what we saw in 2012 with the 2nd gens and someone mentioned a planned refresh. Mild restyling (headlights, taillights, grille), some added content (power seats, Apple Carplay / Android Auto), expect a price increase as well...

I turned up the brightness to 11. Two photos below, full size and zoomed in. The zoomed in photo is of the roof which appears to show a line, could that be the sunroof? It would explain the missing roof ridges as some have pointed out.

Correct, moonroof, the roofline looks identical to my 17 and 19's that had tech/prem. The Fox article roof change is nonsense.

I meant to say that actually after I wrote that and forgot to change it. I actually had the silver in my 2nd gen.

Nope, happy with my 19. Though I appreciate the added content, I would love Apple Carplay, could give a shit about the power seat option and honestly not a fan of the new headlights, but the grille is nice. If it was a full redesign like when I bought my 15 then I'd be a little more pissed.
