@Casper66 , Chris that is F up. Lawyer up. Try and keep your spirits up. They are trying to railroad you to get out of your retirement insurance. On a lighter note, it only took me 2 hours to get home from work. Yesterday was 1.5 hours, tomorrow I going for 2.5 hours. White out conditions by all the AG fields. Got up to 35 mph at one point, flashers going all the way home. Tomorrow is employee appreciation day, fuckers won’t close, greedy bastards. Governor declared a state of emergency for tomorrow, nope you gotta be here or take comp time. Half of the employees won’t be there, including my bosses, just like every other “snow emergency “. Okay, rant over.

About time they shit or got off the pot.

So they want you to stop working right now?

So then a month of "looking" for some other craptastic job at Dulles, followed by 6 months of long term disability and then unemployment pay.

Sounds like a year of pay to look for a better job. That should take a little stress off.

Also, like others have said, contact a lawyer AND HR, make sure they are following all the laws. I am willing to bet they are cutting corners. My company gives us a year to find another job within the company.

Yeah, seems a little disengenous about what really happened. We used to snap the front axles or blow the front differentials out of our Military Land Rover SII's when you would run up a bank and get the front wheel off the ground and when they came back down with your foot up it, snappity snap snap, bangity bang clank, oops, no drive and back down the hill you would go... the front axle would wind up and when they got traction again, shit let go. Seems like the same thing in that thread and I would expect it to NOT be a warrantable failure whether you did that on the road, gravel, sand or mud...
Just my opinion, and that along with $10 may get you a black Starbucks's coffee!

His first mistake was going down a hill he couldn't get back up, then trying to drive the shore line and the place he was headed was worse. There's more to this, need to find the pics....

    Jacket and hoodie weather there.

    That is fucked up.
I play with accessibility a little on the "recreation" side but not with employment. Just enough to know I have to read the book and cypher it all out.

Tired. This work shit is very over rated.

    So how's the weather ?o_O

I have one that specializes in this stuff. We were just kinda in a flat spot until they made this move. Now I will have to go back and explore my options again and each options counter effects.
