I did this to clear the foot of snow that had accumulated on my truck during the drive home, followed by a few squirts of glass cleaner on the backup camera and TSS sensor emblem.

The high winds were the bigger problem yesterday, reducing visibility to as little as 20-30 meters during gusts. A bit problematic if you are at a traffic light trying to turn left and you can't see oncoming traffic. Snow drifts were up to my rear bumper in the driveway this morning, but backing out in 4Hi was no problem.

With all the blowing/drifting snow on the backroads last night I ran my ditch lights in addition to the headlights and fogs. Would turn them off on major roads though. Seriously... "oh its bad weather!! I'll drive down the middle of the road!" ugh. We don't need a G1, G2 and G licencing system. We need a system where it's "learner", "Summer" and "Winter".

If I didn't have the factory plastic on the front in, then I would agree with you... I did pull up to the barrier to asses whether I wanted to risk going over it. Decided off-roading was the safer path.

lol, no worries. I have my new 'Con sticker that needs to go on too, but from previous experience. Going to wait until I can either get the truck someplace warm to work or wait until it warms up outside (I really want to connect my grill ambers!!)

Yeah had a few lots that I plowed which had 5ft drifts in some areas and pavement exposed in others. Blowing snow is a real bitch to clear.

All this driving in the snow has got me thinking about how fun it would be to have a fully spec'd out rally Subaru to boot around in. The tacoma does well though..

One of my neighbours has a blue modified WRX Sti, gorgeous car. I hear him every morning starting it up and today he drove off in the snow like it was nothing.

Anyone have an aftermarket steering wheel? I wanna get a quick release one but don’t want to lose cruise control. Might be able to rewire it to some buttons on the console or something maybe...

I’d have to check with my insurance too to make sure I won’t get shafted for not having an airbag. Or I’ll go balls to the wall and get a 5 point harness and main loop roll bar/harness bar combo with a bucket seat...

This came in from Osaka yesterday before the snow got heavy. :D Luna P/N LCPSF-PR-1 in "Rosso Corsa" leather

Came to 10,008 yen or $125 CAD with shipping, or about $20 less than the TRD Pro shift knob at Cochrane Toyota: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/auc-screate/item/lcpsf-pr-1/
