Super helpful, just upgraded my OR to the pro grille in under an hour. Well done!

Also, I have an OEM OR grille for sale if anyone is interested.

Where did you get your grill and sensor. I got mine from Mad Hornetts and the the sensor does not correctly fit the grille.

This is the one that I had purchased: http://www.madhornets.com/trd-pro-grille-for-tacoma-2016-2019-matte-black-pt228-35170/
Note that I had to go to get a screw for the sensor and two for the Toyota insert to get it to fit.

This sensor did not fit and I am dealing with their customer service on getting a replacement. They asked if I could shave down the inserts so they fit. Unfortunately one broke while trying to get it to fit under the assumption it was the correct part: http://www.madhornets.com/garnish-acc-drcc-sensor-cover-for-tacoma-trd-pro-grilles-53141-35060/

Dealer or online dealer. "Find" a TRD Pro vin. It's basically fraud-ish.
Sometimes Toyota's verification system will spit a TRD Pro vin back out saying it's a Sport or Off-Road. You might have to get the parts guy to look up service records to confirm. Then they do their thing and you get one for $200.

Dealership. Went through 3 or 4 vins and Toyota said they have been used. The dealership found one locally at another dealer.

My local dealers are a joke!but what you paid for OEM is not bad at all! but I think for plastic I got lucky and not issues at all with a replica.

Thats great. Its a hit or a miss. Supposly mexicantaco name keeps popping up. He might be the one to get a fake grill from. I just simply wanted to rule out any issues,if i had to return it I just simply go back to the dealer.
