I have searched to no avail.

I am looking for a key/remote combination without the transponder "chip" .... 2010 AC SR5 .... any ideas?

    Kind of like this:

The transponder is in the key that syncs with the immoblizer.

That is a lexus key in the pic. You won't be able to cut it to fit our trucks. If you can find a standard style key/fob combo you should be able to program it to work. Just not sure what toyota models have a combo like that. A scion tc has that standard style key/fob combo but I wouldn't want a key that has a scion symble on it. Anyone know of a toyota model?

I am not equipped with the immoblizer. I have the fob for keyless entry.

This is my Accord key .... just using it as an example for what I am looking for.

I don't have it ... I check that stuff out carefully.

I had metal keys made first day - slimmer you know - no chip.

I was trying to do something like this myself. I did it on my old acura rsx and used an accord key like you showed. Took a little cutting and modding but in the end it was perfect. I just received a highlander key that I got on ebay but no luck at getting it to program on locking/unlocking the doors :(

Ridiculous that in 2010 when you can jam a zillion bytes on a USB stick but they cant give us a one slim key with keyless entry built in. Laziness!
