Mine leaks, but only under very special conditions. Like the nose pointed down a steep hill, and it has to be raining buckets! even then I only get a small drop/drip that runs down the windsheild ( on the inside ) my strip at the top of the windshield is buckled a bit in that exact spot it drips. I do know my windshield was replaced before I owned it.

its only a very very small drip, and its only happened twice. now I'm conscience about it and keep the nose point up if I feel its gonna "rain buckets". I do plan on addressing it at some point, my door seals are looking a little floppy from all the undercoating applied over the years. so I'll probably put in a rock auto order in the spring for door/hood and windshield rubber.

I was thinking one or two singular batteries... I have a couple that die pretty quick, they're getting to the end of their lives now!

    No prob.
I've got 4 in my hand now, I'll bring a few more packs home tonight.

anyone else? some 18650 lithium Ion batteries from laptops? ( I'm doing a HUUUUUUGE recycle run here in the office, so I wont be able to easily get these batteries for a while after this week )

speak up, don't be shy! I'll even hold them for a reasonable amount of time if you **think** you want some. They are from old Laptops, and you are responsible for removing the batteries from their case. There may be some dead ones, but usually only 1 per "pack" ( anywhere from 4 - 8 batteries per pack depending on the laptop it came from ) and super easy to test if you have a multi-meter.

    PM me by Friday.

ECGS bushing is on it's way to me. Hopefully this eliminates most of my vibrations. My muffle rotted out this weekend, so good excuse to toss the magnaflow I have sitting on a shelf into the truck.

Hey everyone! Fellow 'Scotian here. I'm down in the valley and go out offroading/exploring damn near every weekend, even in the winter. If any of you are planning a 'taco trip to the valley (Greenwood Area or anywhere from Windsor to Annapolis even) any time hit me up and myself (2016 TRD Off-Road) and a work buddy (2018 TRD Off-Road) would probably go as well.

We recently (guessing it was Sat Jan 12 but I could be wrong) did a run from the beginning of the Old Liverpool Road (Highway #10 at Albany Cross), along the side of McGill Lake. Continued South past Skull Bog Lake (Trail got quite narrow here, had to get out a lot of times to cut down alders that were going to scratch up our trucks) and kept going past Dunn Lake and then Smith's Camp Lake. Kept heading South-ish past Round lake where the road turned into The Old Annapolis Road and then along the East Side of Tupper Long Lake. Past Tupper Lake and then Little Tupper Lake (we veered off onto Silver Road here) and ended at the North Brookfield church. Run started at about noon out of Middleton and we were back on road in North Brookfield at probably 6pm-ish. We decided to hook a left on the 208 until we got to New Germany and then we headed back to the valley on the #10. Mind you this was the Saturday in the beginning of January that we got that nasty storm so the entire drive home from North Brookfiled was white out conditions driving behind people who seem to think All-Season tires are good for white out driving conditions... All in all probably my favorite run we've done so far!

We've also done a lot of exploring between Highway #10 and the Aylesford road (fire roads and most of the side trails/roads out this way) so if you're ever interested in some runs down this way hit me up!

I'm currently running a stock truck with WeatherTech mats front and back, and a set of Michelin Latitude X-Ice 2 winter tires mounted on Toyota steel rims (the cheapest ones I could find lol) though I am waiting on a full set of LED lights for my truck with all the fixins (52" curved light bar for the top of my windshield, ditch lights, and a 32" bar that will be hidden behind the grill just above the bumper, OEM style switches and a 3 switch panel that will replace the small cubby hole just to the left of the steering wheel) to be delivered shortly... It was shipped from Cali last Friday so I'm hoping to have it in the next week or two.

My next purchase is going to be a full set of skid plates but I'm still trying to decide which ones to get and whether I should go steel or aluminum so if you have any recommendations it'd be much appreciated!

    Sorry for the long post!

    Chad.

Does Chad happen to live in the Q's. If so I think I've seen your truck around and would gladly join on a run every once in a while. I don't have winter rated tires, so when shit gets too icy I tend to chicken out a little, but could be convinced to be dumber if there is someone willing to yank me out. I am the silver POS on Rose St.

Just put a dirty 2.5" 8x15 Magnaflow on the Tacoma to replace the rotted cheapo muffler that was on it. Little bit of highway drone and it is still only a V6 so the sound could be better, but overall I am happy with it.

    Welcome!

That sounds like a great trip, maybe we city folk will have to hit you up to guide us around sometime. As for recommendations on skid plates, I would say you'll probably want sliders first. Taco has a pretty wisely laid out underbody with most of the soft stuff tucked out of the way. Just my thoughts.

    Keep the long posts coming!

I'm not in the Q's though I work on base... I'm actually just down the hill from Crystal falls... I'm the white taco that's always parked in the Southern Hornell Lot... You'll be able to tell it's me once I put all these damn LEDs on it, should be the most unique lighting setup on a taco on base I think...

I'm always down for a run so if you city folk feel like making the trip definitely hit me up! I've only had my taco since Oct but I've been out pretty much every weekend since and I grew up around here with dirt bikes/wheelers all my life so I know some of the trails though I definitely wouldn't call myself a guide! Google Earth is my friend lol and Bing Maps, which has much more up to date Satellite images, in case you didn't know.

Hit me up any time, I don't check this site every day but def at least twice a week.

I tend to get a bit crazy (read 'stupid') at times and go places I probably shouldn't be so I'm thinking full skids are in order lol
