That is one way to look at it. It's good to be bi-partisan with your blame- but there are SOO many people who are involved with the current economic debacle- that you could vote for my parrot for president and we'd still be screwed.

Stupid politicians, greedy business people, irresonsible home buyers and consumers...The list goes on.

Seems to me if the Populace would just pay there bills we would not have such a crisis! Buy what you can afford and pay for what you have. It is partly the banks fault for lending to people who should not have gotten loans however I did not hear anyone complaining when the Dow was booming. Ignorance all the way around.

LOL, That's okay man. How is life down in FL? Seems like you made the right choice to me, I am out here in the desert. I have three friends that have gotten out of the U.S.M.C. and joined the Coast Guard. They love it.

This makes 2 and a half years that I've been stationed down here. I loved my last unit0 Great crew...a few bumps with some stuff along the way...but good nonetheless. And flight school is the ta-tas without a doubt.

Only thing better then flight school will be flying the mission for real.

How long you been in the desert?? (or when do you leave the desert....which ever is shorter)

 

Well I can't complain. My first four and a half years I was in Hawaii (well deployed all but nine months of that) and that was nice but now I am in Twentynine Palms, CA. I hate the desert but I will be out around July of 09 and done with my eight. So about ten more months and I will be moving to Reno, still the desert but much nicer with some snow and not nearly as hot.

I had a buddy in the AF who was out Vegas/Reno way. The closest I can get to that would be Tahoe...but that's boats...Not helicopters.
