Half those reviews are useless. Asrock make great motherboards but yes vid cards are subpar (Asus there mother company way better cards). I've used XFX for years and love them

I know to take them all with a grain of salt, but a lot say they run hot or fans are loud. I had an XFX back in the day and it was fine.

I use their cleaning solution when once I see accuracy drop off and need to go back to a virgin barrel and reseason. That's about all I use of theirs it's cheap and works just as good as the expensive stuff for getting the copper fouling out.

I know a guy who swears by ATF (my reactiono_O)

I clean with Hoppes and lube almost exclusively with Dex 3. Best stuff by far.

I say "almost exclusively" because a few select items (Mossberg 930 bolt) do well with some white lith grease.

An ATF guy huh. I shoot with someone that runs it in all his guns. I would think in a semi auto if you run them enough and hard enough it'll just burn off since it's not really meant for those types of pressures or heat cycling I used some marvel mystery oil getting an old enfield running smooth after getting it out of cosmeline and just left it on there.

:D It's a homemade vacuum leak fog tester! For like $12. Using a vacuum pump to pull air through the vape and Walgreens "VG" as the fog source.

A little of this and a little of that.

ATF...? Seriously!? I've heard of some odd ball stuff but that's a new one for me.

On a side note I swear that Marvel Mystery Oil and red ATF are the same thing lol.

Speaking of copper fouling, carbon build up, etc. It irks the hell out of me when I see people build shorty AR's using a carbine spring and buffer on a carbine gas system. They sit there getting all bent out of shape when it runs like shit and I'm like "Really? WTF did you expect!?"

:rofl:Even though I am one of those guys that likes to push the limits of gas tube length to try and calm the amount of gas and use an adj gas block. Now my go to rifle that never lets me down is just a std carbine with std carbine gas tube normal gas block. It's gassed all to hell but never fails to run on any ammo.
