How about a better angled windshield to address the easy breaks and a heat strip for the wipers like the 4R has...

This is a refresh, not a new model. They’re not changing the slope of the windshield on a refresh.

Still not making a point for power seats. What do your friends and family do now? Someone else drives your truck, fucks with your powered seats... you’ll never get it right back where you had it. Unless like already stated they have a memory option, it’s not that awesome. The only thing power seats have going for them is the ability to adjust height and infinite adjustment.

Yeah, I guess I liked the auto trans and didn’t have too many gripes with it, since it kinda reminded me of the Tundra when I drove it... I just don’t really like a manual in a truck since I have been spoiled by sporty-ish cars. I do enjoy have a second (or a couple) vehicles with different capabilities though.

    Ideal garage would be:
    1st gen Tundra
    S550 Mustang
    ZX-10R
    some kind of project (FR-S?)
    Old beater

It’s too bad I don’t have the Tundra anymore... this thread is really making me miss it, especially when I can sell the 3rd gen and have 4/5 on my list.

That being said, I have so many emotions attached to this truck, selling this thing will probably cause significant depression and I’ll wish I never would have sold it, but that’s the nature of the beast

Don't understand the hate for everything chrome. That little logo is
i really like the 05-06 Tundra regular Cabs with 4.0 and 6MT. Wish they would make a combo like that for the 3rd gen.

Had they made them in a 4x4 it would have been a great little work truck

Lol. Considering since powerseats have been around for over a half century, and finally now just making their way into a Tacoma....

I completely agree with you. Just wait until they ass rear disk brakes. They will probably have a red carpet event lol

Air-cooled seats wouldn't be a bad option either. It's kind of old tech at this point.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
Yes, but there's a price limit that the consumer can or will pay for all the latest gizmos. With the Tacoma at or around 40k and most full size trucks a lot more than that, I don't think we are far off from that point.

You can get a pretty loaded full sized truck for the price of a loaded midsize, when the rebates are right.
