What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just went and checked mine, mine look blacked out in daylight and up close they look like the stock photos you included, the ones the guys selling look different to me.

 

Installed BAMF bolt on sliders and had the pros install my new SCS F5s and 265/75R16 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They look way more like mud tires than I expected so I was a bit nervous about road noise. Driving home they were pretty much silent until I hit 50 and then there was a very light med-hi pitched hum. It didn’t get much louder at 70. I can’t wait to see how how they do in the snow and dirt!

 

I have the same truck. Wanted to do the roof in black, and dang! That hood looks fantastic!

I've always wondered ...how do you route the wires into the cab for the lights?

 

Drivers side below the brake cylinder...there’s a rubber boot in the firewall you can punch through

 

So you go from the lights to in between the cab and bed, then under the truck into the engine compartment, then through the firewall into the cab?

 

That’s where most people go through I believe...not quite sure as all my lights come from the front except my zroadz roof bar that went through the roof...but still caught power through that same boot I spoke of...I got a 30 inch in the lower grill...40 inch curved on the roof...ditch lights on rear of hood and spartan x customs in my hoodscoop

 

Man. I would get the hell outta your way if I saw you coming up behind me! Light bright! Haha

 

Dude it’s ridiculous how much output I have...literal daytime in the darkest of darkness

 

Thanks, I've been really please with them. I wanted the black Ray10s, but these were my 2nd choice with black not available. Ultimately I'm glad I have these instead.

 

Mounted TRD 4RUNNER wheels & STT Pro’s. These Cooper tires are amazing so far..

 

Finally installed my 1" aluminum seat spacers from 7r41lbr34k3r with M10 x 1.25 x 50 mm grade 10.9 bolts. They fit and work great. Even better if/when I paint them.




Also threw in a K&N High-Flow Air Filter!

 

Looks great! Would you mind posting a couple more pics, from the side and rear three quarter, please? I’ve been thinking about that bed side graphic and would love to see a few more pics!
