If you have the dongle version of the tune you can download the 1.05 files directly from here.

For the MT we now have table controls for:
    - All various idle RPM targets
    - Closed loop limit targets
    few other tables.

working on solving DFCO. Along with modified patch.

IIRC the files for all ecu versions are there for both pre and post TSB ECU ID's,just look for your ECU version. The 04b13 file is for 16's and 17's that have had the TSB done.

ETA I don't think you "have" to flash your ECU with the update as I think Mat incorporated a lot of the TSB benefits into 1.05, I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong.

@OVTune If I buy this tune right now, I'll have the "dongleless" version, right? I've previously used a handheld programmer (Cobb AccessPORT) on my other cars, but I have a Win10 laptop that I could use for this.

So the current OVtune product uses a registry key in Windows to authenticate, or some other unique hardware ID like Ethernet MAC address? Is OVtune using their own flashing software (the tool, not the firmware image) or something off the shelf? Can I obtain and run any version of the OVtune firmware, or only the latest OVtune firmware?

Yes, you'll be dongleless. You'll send Mat your system ID that pops up on the toy flash software, and he will send you a registry key.

Regarding DFCO, looks like the way it works is unorthodox, unlike other cars.
There are fuel switch(es), Vehicle speed thresholds, and RPM trigger. not at all like other cars that use a full 2D mapping and other points.

    Regarding Rev Hang.
I've found why you guys get the hang, and it's related to something else completely. Idle throttle feedback control.
I won't post what RPM it triggers but.. it's adjustable.

Oh man, now you're moving past foreplay.

DFCO - my guess WRT RPM - Injectors back on at ~1300 while decel; injectors off again when RPM reaches ~2500 while still fully off the gas pedal. That damn cycle drives me crazy when in 4low going down a steep decline in 1st gear. Feels like I just blew a few spark plugs out of the heads lol.

Rev hang RPM trigger - let's see, maybe 8000??!!

    @iexc , where you at???

@OVTune , with this new knowledge regarding DFCO - is there a way to make changes that affect it differently when in 4lo as compared to 4hi?

The engine braking effect is way stronger when the injectors are off in 4low. There's also that tidbit you gave us regarding valve timing to improve engine braking....

    Damn, this is cool shit.

Yes, to everything previously said about the mod and the new flash. Also, for the slow cold clutch issue I have heard more expensive or better dot 3 fluid may help. I can’t confirm but something pretty easy and cheap to try.

No, because the DFCO is way too simple. Global switches with thresholds. Regardless of any external modes
