Time to fix it up as a Sunday only if it is nice out driver.

We have a sleep number and it is worth the cost. Best bed I have ever had and it continues to put me right to sleep. Get the massage option.

They are always on sale or so it seems. If you have a friend that bought a sleep number they should be able to get you an additional 10% discount. The sleep number cost no more than other top line beds.

Thanks. That's in the ball park of the Casper. Been awhile since I had to buy a mattress. Wife always helped with that.

Snow stayed on the ground. Down to 12 so far. Turned the wood stove down. Down comforter is a valued item in the log cabin in winter.

Tomorrow I start a blacksmithing class. Hope to make a Kentucky Belt Axe over the next few weeks.

If you are looking for a mattress go to a Sleep Number store, with your wife, and let them test you for your sleep number. Try out the C2 but also try out the P4. The P4 is $1K more but the comfort is worth the price. Think of the 20 years you will be sleeping on the mattress and the extra coat over that time.

We went in looking at the C4 and came out with a M6, discontinued now, and so happy we did. Regardless of the mattress you buy get a good one, your back deserves it.

The college in Susanville over 90 minutes away used to, don't know if they still offer, a gun smithing class.

    Morning all:
Where can I buy the 3" thick horsehair, or what ever the heck it was stuffed with, mattress like we had in the service! That mattress on top of a steel bunk/locker was comfy! BTW, did I mention FIRM, they don't come much firmer than that.

We got about 4” which I cleaned up, then I went to work (@ home). Then we got another 1”! Wtf. I’m starting to think maybe I’m getting too old for this s**t, maybe I should move to someplace I could justify solar panels. Grumble.

    Evening all:
Showing 1deg. here now, just North of here in Albrightsville it's showing -4 deg. IT'S COLD, and that's without the wind chill, here on the East coast that's probably the equivalent of -30 or more in the mid western states.

Dave, move over to my neck of the woods. My solar panels work great! Last couple of months have been a bit cloudy though so my bill was up to $75, from an average of $30. I've had bills as low as $15 when sunny, and that is when we use the AC alot.
Problem is, real estate prices are out of this world

Going to bed at a warm 14°.

Blacksmith class was a blast. Coke (coal) forged a coat hook. "It will keel".

A toasty -9 here this morning. Nowhere as bad as the mid-west folks have had it.

We're at -6...but you're right it could be much worse like the folks in the mid west and upper mid west.

All I can say is you guys/gals who can function at below zero are a tough bunch.

Down here we would probably go into hibernation with those temps and come out in early March to see if we saw our shadow.
