Hi Florida here. I got my 2019 Sr5 Double Cab Long Bed 2wD for 31,800 OTD( all fees, tax, tag). If I wanted AWD then it would’ve been 1,500-2,000 more from what I was told. Although mine is silver and not the blue that you want but the black rims are stock because I got them too. I also bought the Tyger steps for $269 on eBay (compared to the $900 OEM running boards the dealer was asking for) I won’t be doing any off-roading so I don’t need sliders but it’s great for the look and my whole family is short so it’s a good step for us.

You can do better, but if it's the price you're happy with just go for it. There will always be a better deal, but as long as you get the deal you want for the truck you want then you're good.

I paid 34,600 for my Cement OR, and negotiated in the predator steps. Came with the all weather mats. Not sure about your area, but I'd check into seeing if you can get an OR for around the same price.

Edit: saw you only want Calvary Blue. Make sure you tell them color doesn't matter (even if it does). I was negotiating with another dealership on a Calvary Blue that was almost exactly the same as the Cement one I ended up with. They tried the "color tax" on me and I told them I wasn't shopping for color. They immediately came down on price. Ultimately, I went with the dealership I went with because they were not South East Toyota-- South East Toyota dealerships didn't want to deal as much.

That sounds high for a SR5... how much do the OR's go for in your area?

Got my 17 OR 4x4 MT w/ tonneau for I think it was $35k and change

Do not buy from Beaman if you're buying in Nashville. Ron Hibbard up in Gallatin are good folks who seem to take care of customers and I hear mixed reviews on Cool Springs but many have had good experiences. Beaman is the worst

Go to Cars.com or similar sites and look at the comparison prices. There are 19’s that are OR manuals (more fun to drive if nothing else) and without even negotiating they are at like 33,000. You don’t need those step things etc. just get the best platform for the money and get stuff you want to add on later.

This. My OR is an AT, but MT is even cheaper. I'm seeing OR MT in my area advertised, before negotation, around 34,3k.
Also, just checked and the Calvary one I tried to negotiate on a month ago is still on the lot. According to them there was "so much interest" in the color......

Remember man if you want a certain color configuration and the dealer is unwilling to budge you can always go elsewhere or wait. When you buy it just because it’s what you want at the time is when you look back and wish you got a better deal. Good dealers will jump through hoops to get you the truck you need. Don’t settle for a price you will regret not getting lower or config just to get “that truck you want”. These trucks are a dime a dozen ESPECIALLY for automatics.

This truck is exactly what I want, he came off the msrp. The 35k includes tax, title. He initially said $35,300, he came down to 35k, so they are taking off part of the doc fee.

We you are the tacomashopper so you should know what a good deal is. Just remember the improved features like a rear locker, suspension that are available on an OR for the same price later. Best of luck.

They get holdbacks and all that so they should be able to come down more. I'd be much more relentless in my negotiations, unless a little bit of money doesn't really matter to you in the grand scheme of things.

So many people don’t realize how cheap these trucks can be if you work the deal and find the right truck. I paid 32,500 for mine and didn’t even negotiate that hard when I bought it. Next time though... Swords will be out and ready for battle!

If it's what you want, and it seems they came down to a fair price, go for it. Don't let a few hundies stand in the way!

Also, I think VA is a cheap place to buy (if that's where you bought). I bought mine in VA instead of NC because South East Toyota puts add ons on EVERYTHING to drive up the price. It's obnoxious.

I actually did buy in VA, but the vehicle before that I bought in MD. Their processing fees were like $199 or something crazy low. But their sales tax is high, but I paid VA’s sales tax so it wasn’t so bad.
