Push them to 10% off MSRP and you're good on the Offroad. What's the MSRP on the PRO?

$27k on trade in? I had dealers offering me less for my TRD Pro lol.

Yup. I know! Not sure of your region, but that’s the offer I got this morning in writing.

The TRD Pro has a roof rack that I don’t really want. So they’ll drop the MSRP by $200 to meet me in the middle.

The only upgrades I’d want to buy would be a bed mat, Tyger Auto foldable tonneau, 17” TRD SEMA OEM wheels, TPMS sensors and a set of Wildpeaks tires in 265/70/17. Maybe the OVTune after a couple of months.

Anyone know a street value of the stock PRO wheels/tires with sensors?

They go for about $700 around here in AZ.

Thanks. Not much more than the stock TRD OR wheels and tires.

Those go for $400, market is flooded with them, times have changed since you bought your 16.

Just to close out this thread, I've made my decision. I'm going to stick with the 2015 Tacoma for now. I was tossing around three different trucks:

    1. 19 PRO Automatic in Voodoo Blue
    2. 19 DCLB TRD Off Road 4x4 Premium/Tech Automatic with some PIO's in Cement
    3. 19 DCSB TRD Off Road 4x4 Premium/Tech Manual in Silver Sky Metallic

I was leaning towards #3 because #3 was about a $12k difference OTD with around 9.25% off MSRP. However, when I saw the 2020 teaser, I made up my mind to just wait. It will be a 2020 Tacoma or a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon when the time is right. For now, I'm going to enjoy the 2nd Gen.

Good move. We'll see what they do w/ the 2020s and I may even look to trade in my 17 for one in hopes more issues have been fixed. I wouldn't expect revolutionary changes for the 2020, but perhaps some cool new LED lights, hoods, grills, and they may make some suspension and/or tire changes or something else to freshen it up... A new engine / transmission combo would be a godsend but unlikely. As much as we complain about the 3rd gen engine/tranny combo, hard to find anyone who's actually had them FAIL until miles rack up.

In 10 years, the old 3rd gen guys will be talking about their engines that have revved high for 300k and how that old 2GR-FKS wasn't "fast" and the truck "took it's sweet time" but it was bulletproof... ha

Yup. I'm hoping that they see there's a big gap in the powertrain compared to their direct competitors. Going to an 8 speed with a better spread of ratios would (could) be a nice improvement.

Good call, some good potential with the new vehicles coming up soon. I almost regret getting my 2018, traded a 2017 JKU that was nicely setup for it... too late for me though!

Have you looked at the Colorado ZR2s? Jeep Gladiator?

Yeah. I like the ZR2 but hate the interior. It just looks cheap. Same as the new Ranger.

The Jeep Gladiator looks quite nice. I'm thinking about going down and test driving a 2018 Rubicon Unlimited just to get a feel for how they drive with the 3.6L. I love the look though. I'm not a huge FCA fan to be honest. So I have some research to do on the JL/JT platform before I'd go that direction.

There are almost no Tacomas on the lot at the dealer I am getting the 20k check done on my 4Runner.

I’m at Freeman in Hurst, Texas.

Now granted they just got done with the yearend sale, but the timing is interesting.
