That's because their overpriced. Does anyone believe an auto company can give 10k off a brand new truck and still turn a profit if the truck isn't overpriced to begin with, but then again maybe that's why they needed a bailout from the taxpayers.

They are making a pretty penny on these mid sized trucks. Don’t be fooled

Maybe, they will bring back a supercharger?

Wait what? Rev matches too? That's fantastic. Wish MT came with LB.

Every time they add a new feature they take away a cubby.

They took the driver's side bed cubby away and didn't give us anything in return. I see the empty space back there and have no idea why they did it...

I've had cars with manual height adjust, so that's not a power seats only thing. Will be interesting to see how much height adjustment is there with the power seats. My guess is it will be laughably small, just like the Steering wheel telescoping. There simply isn't enough room in the cab for a lot of height adjusting of the seat.

I predict similar treatment to what Tundra received. Headlights. Maybe Access Cab moonroof. I'd like to see the 6MT on the 2.7

That's where they housed the wiring for the USB port they added.

Agreed, but my comment was directed toward the domestic truck manufactures like Chevy that offer the big rebates. I don't remember ever seeing a rebate advertised for a Tacoma.

That would be really nice. The RC62F would be a great match with the 2.7, which suffers from not having two overdrive ratios. I've toyed with the idea of putting the R452 5th gear on the R155, but while it would be great for mileage with no load, it would be painful even with a small trailer since you'd be restricted to 4th.

What's the difference between entune 3.0 and what's in the '16-'19s? It seems like the general consensus around here is that no one uses it..

I will say though, they have been offering incentives in the past 2-3 years and advertising on commercials for the Tacoma that used to not be a common thing. The 18’s get 1,500 off and the 19’s get 1,000 off and sometimes they have been offering 1.9% to get them moving better.

We have 2.0 which doesn't offer as much because it was based on a proprietary Blackberry QNX operating system. 3.0 moved to an open source Linux based system that allows for better possible integration with 3rd party apps (such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto).

New to the discussion but saw a lot of people sarcasticly saying big deal to power seats. Power seats will allow for someone over 6 feet to actually fit in these trucks. It's a big deal and one they shouldn't have waited 5 years to implement.

If you aren’t over 6’ like myself... Why the hell would I care? Lol. Not being mean, just saying why would I need to care since I don’t want them to begin with and will end up having to spend extra money if they are standard on the OR? I think everyone is mixed. Some like them and some don’t. I fall into the latter. We’ve had people have their heated seats literally burn up on here. Remember more electrical stuff more room for failure.

My advice to you. Keep your 17. Toyota is selling more Tacoma's than they ever have since adding electronics. No doubt they follow the money. You'll see more electronics, not less.

I have a manual, no crawl control, and manual climate controls. I’m trying here! Lol! I plan on going the same config on a 20. The only issue is I do like the leather... But I will honestly still get cloth and manual climate controls again. Much cheaper.

There's nothing magical about factory leather. It's the same quality you can get from a 3rd party, maybe lower depending on the brand. Leather can be added to any vehicle very easily. I've actually seen where the little squares on the factory Tacoma leather have worn down already, it hasn't been out all that long either.
