    When California breaks off its not going to drop into the ocean. It's going to drift north to Alaska.

    If it ever does it'll only do it on the Pacific plate side of the San Andreas Fault . I'm 35 miles East of this fault so no worries !!!

    Funny enough we have had two around here, though for those folks with real ones I am not even sure they would have noticed . Hell I thought it was heavy truck going by :}

    I've been thru quite a few 5.0 or bigger quakes and the smaller ones I sleep right thru them . When I lived in San Bernardino I was no more than a couple hundred yards from the famed San Andrea's fault

    The biggest earthquake I've been in was in the Spring of 1993 and was the Landers / Big Bear earthquakes . I was with my 4x4 club in our campsite in Johnson Valley Calif when the first quake hit at 0500hrs and was a 6.1 magnitude

    I was sleeping in my tent on the Desert floor when it hit and scared the crap out of me as did all my other club members . Later on that morning at 0900hrs a 2nd quake hit near Big Bear registering 6.5

    Service man comes out and informed me the shop snowblower won't start.
    Check it out.

    Oh boy

    No oil
    Loose valves
    Gunk in carb.
    Dirty plug.
    All drive adj out of whack.
    Got it going but fails under load.
    Need new carb.
    Never shuts off the fuel and run it dry.
    Even blowing and cleaning won't help.
    Gotta love it..

    Wires and battery packs could cause problems.
