This morning, neighbour had his GMC van parked on the street and ends up snowed in by the plows and couldn't get his van out. Rear was sitting on ice. I come out to leave for work and of course cannot just leave him there without offering to help. So, two options came to mind, tow strap or recovery boards. Decided on the boards and he was out on the first try. That was my recovery for today:bananadance:

Thats a nice one, i prefered the 2nd gen tacoma knob over the 2.5. The half leather half plastic didnt feel as good

That sucks, i wonder if theres a way around the clips?

Not if the snow is deep. The Subie will "beach" from lack of ground clearance. I leave my 2.5i parked on days like yesterday. In shallow snow it's very fun and forgiving to drift. I'll never buy a non-AWD car again.
My first time using the rear locker with my old truck was on the 401, climbing over a snow bank created by plows at the end of an onramp. :anonymous:

I have a problem with my hood release falling off the lever in the cab. It fell off and somehow opened my hood twice while I was driving today. Any ideas?

Even after putting the release back on the lever it easily falls off, and if I pull the lever it falls off

5 point harness and cage is illegal for road use as it would make it harder for firefighter to remove you from vehicle in an accident.

When I looked into it aftermarket steering wheel was fine, but if you were in an accident and having an airbag would've prevented injury they won't cover those injuries.

But not having an airbag might trigger a warning light on the dash.
