My experience is fpr mod is required smaller than 2.7, but I may have hit the limit at 2.5. We’ll see. Well, that and getting a good close on the bypass.

Actually I skipped that size. So I’m not firm on that.

Any of you muscle car guys in a previous life ever had your stock wheels widened? Trying to stick with the sleeper theme and came across this idea on a few muscle car forums. Trying not to get a set of nice lightweight wide forged wheels.

If you find out let me know. I’d love to widen my stock rear ralley wheels on my Chevelle instead of getting torque thrusts......

Work wheels for the win! Or even Enkei Racing for the price and they won't stand out like Work or Ray's. Everyone has Enkei's. Well every Subaru and Honda has Enkei's.

Edit: I'm assuming this is for the toyota?

While not widened, a few of the FJ guys with the original trail teams wheels were adding bead locks to them. They looked sweet and subtle. Frankly, I wouldn't have an issue running a large 315 on stock 7" wheel width.....

It’s on the pricey side is all I know. Labor is like $250 per wheel...which if you did all 4 wheels you could just buy some wheels.

Trying to just stay under the radar. My sister got pulled over in her Infiniti Q50 and the cop was labeling her as a street racer and asked her if she participates in sideshows. Mind you, her car does have stuff on it. Wheels, downpipe, whatever else. But her little ass can barely even reach the pedals.

It’s for my Lexus sedan. Low pro tires. Best I can find in my size was some conti extreme contact sports in 285/40-18 or some nitto nt555’s in 295/40-18.

I want to go with Diamond Racing Steelies on my minitruck. They offer the size and width I want.. and are relatively cheap. downside is.. they're obviously heavier. then wrap them in some Toyo R888R's.

I had a 2.7 and my injectors were at 93.7% without fpr

That is higher than I liked so I got larger injectors.

Water/meth would lower that number down.

Ok soo I hope it’s ok posting this here, I was directed to this thread thru another thread that I started. Soo
I have A 2015 Tacoma 4.0 with a magnuson supercharger, on a 2.85 pulley. I’ve recently developed a problem where my boost comes on too soon, i reach max boost in park. Also when I’m cruising at -10 vacuum, it goes into boost with very little command of the throttle. People have told me it’s fine, but it’s not what it was doing before so I know something is wrong. It’s also harder to stay in vacuum when driving. Boost comes on below 2k rpm. Idle vacuum is -20 to -22. I’ve changed my maf sensor because at the sametime, I had a p0101 p0171 p0174. The maf sensor got rid of those but didn’t fix my boost issue, i also replaced my bypass actuator. Looked for vacuum leaks. And nothing. What am I missing? I’m getting close to taking it to a shop, but would like to figure it out if possible. Thank you for any help you can give.

    Daily driver :(

A tire that does really interest me is the new Bridgestone S007A’s. Biggest they have is 275/40-18 for me.

What’s the treadwear? Like 100? I also looked at Yoko AD08R’s for just the rear because tire rack had them on clearance for something like $140 each, but was advised not to.

You've come to the right place for educated speculation. Probably going to have a few questions for you. What do you mean that you reach max boost in park? Is that while you're revving the engine? Also what do you mean before? Did something happen, did you make changes?
Air fuel ratio information during these events is helpful, do you have an auxiliary gauge?

Vacuum levels at idle look standard, so probably not too much of an issue(leaks) there. Have you added larger tires with stock gears? Sometimes that can load up the engine quicker.

    Any more information on upgrades?

BD or TRD tune? Are you sure it's not just the gauge?
