I've heard mixed opinions about the Bosch O2 sensor it uses...some say they're no good and to put a Denso in instead, but mine's been good for the last several months. Hopefully it holds up, though it wouldn't be all that difficult to swap out.

Not sure I understand what you mean?

For the wideband AFR gauge you have to drill a hole in your exhaust right before the first catalytic converter, weld a bung to it and thread the O2 sensor that comes with the kit into it. That O2 sensor has a wiring harness that connects to the gauge, so basically you'll have three O2 sensors on your truck after its installed ( the 2 stock ones and the new one for the wideband gauge)

Nope, gotta drill a hole and weld the bung in for it. I had a local fabricator do it for me but I'm sure any exhaust shop could do it. Only took him like 10 minutes. I wired it up myself when I got home

I need to get a AFR guage soon,
Do you know anyone with the Innovate PSB-1 guage?
This is a really slick combo guage

I like that you can set it to shut the boost or cut the boost if there is a lean condition happening with
the AFR. Would be a great failsafe for the methonal kit.

And that it’s in one pod both the Boost and AFR in one.
I’m probably going this route in a few months

Nice, I haven't seen that one but should ask in the Supercharger tips, tricks and mods thread...I'm sure someone knows about it in there

My guess is it uses a solenoid to open the blow off valve.

Edit- Yup, solenoid...it's in the description

actually I stand corrected, I think for our superchargers it's called a bypass valve technically, not a blow off valve like what turbos have.

Not sure of the difference but it doesn't make that "pssssshhhew pssssheeew" sound that a turbo's makes lol

shouldn't it still open when you let off to "vent extra boost"

    Interesting -
    https://www.enginelabs.com/news/blow-off-valve-vs-bypass-valve-whats-the-difference/

I knew zero about forced induction two months ago. Now I know just slightly more than zero.
