What you doing in kensington? Not a great area and very likely if you are walking around after 10pm... during the day? Eh chances are slightly less high. I carry a gun for that reason. 22nd district of philly is not a nice place

If you need something from there and are flexible on the day I am around friday if you would like an armed buddy lol. I won’t let anyone go there without a gun if they ask me. Kid I knew back in highschool got robbed and they took his 4wheeler right out of the bed of his truck at gunpoint a year ago. He just got the quad back and the guys who robbed him were 16 and 17.

 

Yeah just started getting the “snow squall” about 10 minutes ago. Thinking about going out and getting milk, eggs, and bread lol

 

Ironic, buddy of mine went down there to sell his Honda CRF450... he sat in his truck waiting for the "buyer" to get there. His tint was so dark that he didn't even notice the pistol being held to his window by the guy supposed to buy it till he went to get out and heard a "clink!" on the window when his door opened... The guy held him at gunpoint, made him get out and unload the bike, and then my buddy watched the guy just ride away with it. Never saw it again, though. He was only 18 at the time when this happened.

Point is, not a nice place.

Nadda here. They brought in half the crew early for the freezing temps. I'm wondering if when we get hit, (supposedly 1500) we aren't gonna all get held over late just because of the chaos that may ensue. All I know is this whole, having to fight for 5 mins to get my door open in the morning is putting a hamper on my sleeping schedule. Woke up at 0530 got the truck open, went in and back to sleep for an hour or so, came back out, frozen shut again.

 

I never got this.
I probably have enough food in my house for a week at anytime.
If by chance it snowed that bad that you could not get out for say 2 days. Does snow make people crave breakfast foods? I’m jaded during snow storms I eat at WAWA and the local hospital.

It’s so funny and the news really feeds on it... interviewing people at the grocery stores and hardware stores getting salt and shovels lol

 

I lied. The sun is no longer out. >_> I may have been hiding in the day room doing school work for the last hour. Wind is howling through the hose tower now. Craaaap.

 

Not sure how much @Taco critter got but I’m “up the road” by bear creek and got 4 inches.

 

Yeah we just got hit by that snow squall and whiteout conditions and now we have drifts, sun, and wind.

We were just talking about that. We cover a major portion of 295/95 and Rt 1. But we didn’t get it half as bad as everyone else.

I watched PP&L and Allison crane set a substation transformer in the middle of two different 69k lines. In these winds, during the snow squall.

 

Kinda what I thought too.

 

It was quite Interesting coming in old 22 from Hamburg around 1400 or so.

Why do people Tail gate in Snow .?

Why do they feel the need to Pass Snow Plows ??
