    Ask and you shall receive.

SCS Stealth 6 16x8 -25mm offset wheels in Matte Jet Black with my 285/75r16 XLT’s.

I’m running Bilstein 5100’s with OME 885 coils and JBA upper control arms. In the rear I have the stock TSB leaf springs with the Headstrong 3 leaf AAL. Cab mount chop was very aggressive. Still need to pound my pinch weld flat.

They’ve been a great well rounded tire.
    I didn’t weigh them myself.

went to the Toyota dealer for mounting and road force balancing 2 of the tires had excessive road force and were calling for almost 15 ounces of weight you could see the tires wobbling on the machine not round at all said they could not fix the excessive road force so they just static balanced the 2 tires took less than 4 ounces and said it was good now the truck has way to much vibration not good the service at that dealer was horrible and will not go back I don't know what to do. on the plus side the tires are very quiet and do ride great except for the excessive vibration. 265/70R16 LT E rated

I’ve been running the XLT’s in 295/75 for nearly two months now. No complaints or issues at all. Would definitely buy again at this point.

My 295/75/16 XLT’s will be here tomorrow. I’ll report back with pictures once they are all mounted up. Quite excited to say the least.

Well it's official I have a lot of confidence in these tires. Today has been the 3rd big snowstorm I've had them in and they performed great. I had 2 sets of duratracs on my old LJ and these have been so much better even with them being XLT’s 285/75/16. I have a friend who lives in the mountains who has the LT's on his and loved them so much he bought another set for his 4Runner.

    Hello all,
I am new to Tacoma world. I just purchased a 2017 Tacoma 5 days ago! Can anyone tell me what the hype is over the Cooper Discoverer AT3's? I still have the stock tires on my truck and I am looking for more off road worthy tires.
Also how much do you think I can get for 5 brand new stock tacoma tires (Wheels not included).

Have you read this thread at all?

More winter impressions on my 4S’s. The drive home from Denali National Park Friday started at 45F and deteriorated to 20F from melting ice covered roads to freezing rain to sleet to snow.

    B1ADF1F3-7FD9-45BC-9B05-5C756F38F2F7.jpg BDA85743-7C59-44BF-83AC-247003C493AB.jpg 62522696-4DBC-4C9C-B147-F5096320E4C6.jpg

The 4S’s performed amazingly well and were confidence inspiring in truly awful conditions. There were people skating across the parking lot when I left Healy and you wouldn’t have known it based on how they gripped.

Not a Tacoma owner but found this thread after getting some General Grabber Atx on my 03 4runner. Quality tires, but tires were loud, super heavy and I had some extreme steering wheel shake/squirly vibes on interstate. I was bummin cuz they were brand new and I couldn't tell if it was balance issues or what. Discount Tire exchanged them under their 30 day warranty for some At3 4s. All I can say is WOW. So smooth, so quiet, no steering shakes, grip on the interstate, don't feel heavy, better mpgs, and they look just as aggressive as my Atx's. So thanks for this thread, it was totally worth the switch. IMG_7093.jpg

They look great on the 4runner too! Have you tried the 4S offroad yet?

I’d recommend reading through the entire thread, like I did, before I bought the AT3 XLT’s. It was worth it. Very happy with them.

    @ryan05Taco
I see you live in Portland. It's very wet there, and most of the people in this thread seem to experience a lot of snow. I love in las vegas and I would primarily be doing a lot of dry desert driving lol are these a good option for me? We get like 4 inches of rain a year and it never snows.

Yes I do drive on a lot of wet pavement and these tires are great in the rain. I don’t have experience in the sand myself, but I’d wager they’d do great in the sand aired down to 15-18psi. I’m only talking about the XLT’s though, as that’s what I have. Not sure about how the other AT3 options do aired down but the XLT’s perform great.

Ko2's are hands down the best desert tire. For an AT.
