I didn't say that. I had it last night for supper and again today for lunch. I just prefer chili.

 I like chili too. A man can eat leftover anything only so many times.

Thanks, sounds good. Too much tomato for my wife though. :( My base is slightly thickened beef broth and tomato sauce.

Just make sure you get one with a thick bottom; a lot of the cheaper pots have thin metal all the way around to keep them light, and will scorch/burn your food if you put high heat under them. It's well worth the extra $10-20 to save on the headache later. :notsure:

Lemon pepper yard birds... Skinless. They quit laying so... Brined in apple juice and salt over night; should be a winner when I get home.

How old? I've got a few 4 year olds that are slowing down some, but still laying probably 2 days out of 5, so right now they're still paying for their feed

Less than 2. My mom had 4 hens and a couple roosters and both roosters are gone for one reason or another and one of the hens got killed by something back this fall; she was the best layer and apparently was the only thing keeping the others going cuz they hadnt put out a dozen eggs between the 3 of em since she died

That's odd. Usually 6-36 months is when they do their best laying.

At least you got them in there before they got too old. I've had yardbirds that the breasts are only good for chicken soup and the legs are only good for chicken stock or dog chews.

Some beef stroganoff would be good on a cold day like today. Wish I knew I was out of crock pot liners before I started.

Just gave it a stir, should be good to go in time for dinner.
