I wanted to let you know that I finally got around to using this on my driver's side door seal today. I drove around all afternoon, not a squeak to be heard. Thanks again for the tip.

    Glad to hear it.

Which reminds me, it's time to redo mine.

Spoke too soon. It lasted one day without squeaking, and now the squeak has returned with a vengeance, actually worse than before. Back to the drawing board.

Taking the truck in for maintenance on Monday, will see if it's covered under extended warranty.

Are the green highlighted numbers all the weatherstrip pieces?

Trip to the dealer today did not result in any fix. For one thing, it's not covered under the extended warranty. They said it is the weather seal on the front door, but I'm not convinced of that. I did talk to the parts guy, and he gave me the list of part numbers for all the weather seals for both doors and the body. They are ordering the large door seal and will call when it's in, but they want too much at this dealer. I did some online searching today, and I can buy all the door seals for both doors for less, about $135 savings over the local dealer.

I have one more idea to try that I have not seen suggested, before replacing seals.

Yes, and the dealership. Simply call the parts department and have your VIN ready to recite. Don't hesitate to get the part number either. Don't forget to get your clips too - they'll either come with the weather striping OR separate - just ask em. MSRP is EXPENSIVE and even with body shop prices - it's very similar to online pricing.

If you noted my last post above, I've made it to the dealership, and gotten the part number list. Unfortunately, they are way more expensive than ordering online. To the tune of $135+ more for the four door seals, with every one of them individually more than ToyotaPartsDeal.com

    Thanks, though, for chiming in.

just tell them your a body shop, no you don't have a resale cert. and you'll get at very least, 20% off.

Would this rid the damn humming on the highway? There are trips where the humming isn't there but then there are trips where we can't even hear each other speak.

Ended up buying the set of three door seals from a Toyota dealer online, but never installed them. If anyone needs a new in box set of these, make me an offer. I'm pretty sure they ran about $150ish new.

Just ordered drivers/passenger side seals for my Access Cab. Will report back after they get here and I install them.
