    I remember about 10 yrs ago at SCSN 7 (Drag Race) at LVMS it was friggin cold during elims . Think it was 34° and most of the spectators there were from Socal and Vegas and quite a few Canadians .You could tell who was Canadian as they were all wearing shorts , t-shirts and flip flops . The rest of us were wearing heavy jackets with hoods and gloves

    I talked to one guy from Alberta and he said this feels like Summer to him as he was seeing -25° temps at home

    Evening all

    Went to work this afterrnoon and dead quite. Only about 25% showed up. Then we heard about a fire over in the main plant. What happened was power company told the company they had to cut electric use. No problem, they have back up gen. Then they were told no cut natural gas use. The roof top air make up units use natural gas or LP. When they switched them overy to LP, 3 of them caught fire on 3 different plants. Fires out, no one hurt. They shut down 2nd shift, complex wide.I don't lose any pay.

    Was outside a few minutes ago and heard the familiar sounds of multiple Military fighter aircraft . Looked towards the East and saw (4) F35's flying around

    They're either headed to or leaving from NTC Ft Irwin or MAGCC 29 Palms

    Before we went infared heaters on my binder they were LP or natural gas.they would switch in the winter between the two...thats when we had so many fires on the binders as too many fingers messin with the air/ gas mix on the lines heaters.I still have the lines inplace..
