Well I didn't choose the wheel and tire setup here. They came on the truck. The beadlocks aren't really my style, but I don't mind the 18 vs 17. The only thing about FB is I want to trade instead of sell b/c I don't have the cash to just buy more and wait till these sell.

So why the dislike for 18" wheels?

 

If i could get sr8 in copper id have sex with them for a week before i put them on the truck

Lol. No. Not when shipping is potentially 500 bucks.

 

It’s honestly the weight that’s the issue. The box would be at least 50 pounds. And dimensionally per the customers design it will be a minimum of 5 feet long. So... yeah. Lol.

I see it’s been a busy day in the AL Thread! Finally caught up and looks like business as usual!

 

The box for the satoshi was 13x15x40 if I remember correct and about 8lb. It was $140ish through the postal service, FedEx and UPS wanted right at $200. It took over 3 weeks to arrive. I would probably look to palletize it. We use UPS for our crates to Moscow, so hard to say which is best.
