Hot Wheels

I don't have many Hot Wheels. Like most guys I destroyed most of them when
I was a kid. Have 3 that I bought at a grocery store around 20 years
ago. If I remember right they were around $20 each. Was going to buy
1 each week but after 3 weeks they quit selling them, oh well.

 

I see a lot of Volkswagens posted here. Picked this one up while out buying diapers.

 

DUDE! That might be worth some $$. One currently on eBay with a $300.00 asking price.

 

That's the first time it's been shown off.

 

Here's the thing, I don't know enough about these to know if that's a legit price, or someone being a douche trying to rip someone off. @williams63 would probably be the go to guy for that.

 

Really??? While buying diapers! That’s the treasure hunt vw bug. Hard to find and sell between 250 and 300 depending on how nice the card is. I don’t even have that one. Not yet

 

Have to ask.... when you say you picked this up while you were out, was that recent? If so then that car has been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

Metal chassis, so many are plastic anymore. I like when they have some weight to them.

 

Nice car Jonas. this was the first vw I purchased when I started collecting vw bugs. came with a few different wheels. I didn't even own a beetle at the time but did have a manx which I regret selling.
