    I was going to suggest. I did that when I rebuilt mine. Cleaned everything off and put it all back together and forgot to grease.

    Yea it was dumb on my part lol. Sounded like the rack was binding but turned out to be just load transfer so it was hard to diagnose at night lol

    I disconnected my battery overnight on my last truck and that seemed to reset it. Don't know for sure, but it never had kicked in again when I was on a tight curve.

    That pinning reset thing was always nutty to me. Seems like a PITA, just like the trans temp reset bullshit for ATF change.

    It wasnt hard, but the idea of purposely shorting out my OBD2 just drives me nuts. Still did it. But nothing happened for the VSC. Battery is disconnected. I'll check again before bed.

    There was a post somewhere where a dude bought an open OBDII plug off Amazon for $10 and wired in the jumper cable to the pins. That way when he wanted to reset the VSC or the to the trans refill, he could just plug it into the port instead of fumbling with a wire and alligator clips.
    Pretty clever.
