I have noticed increased helicopter activity into and out of Camp Pendleton, more than the last couple years combined. There are usually 2 or 3 a couple times a day. Makes me wonder whats going on. Increased training for something brewing somewhere? Zombies?

I worked in HR in city government for a bit and you are so right... If people just did their job, work might be tolerable. So many times, manager would come to me for advice, then do the opposite of what I said and wonder what went wrong...... :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Good morning everyone, brrrr. Good roads this morning, snow banks are tall enough to help with white outs and drifting. Mother Nature’s snow fence for the win. All y’all be safe, have a good one.

    Morning.
Balmy -17° wind chill this morning.
Glad I finished moving snow last night.
    Coffee is brewing.
In a vegetative state at the moment.
My enthusiasm for work this morning is seriously lacking.
One of the young girls in the office last day was yesterday.
She came around and said goodbye to everyone. She actually
    Chased everyone down.
    Thought that was really nice.

    Coffee ready.

One of my employees is on vacation in Colorado. Got word this morning he was in a serious snowmobile accident yesterday. Assorted broken bones that should be ok. But....undergoing surgery this morning to stabilize a spinal injury. Has feeling in extremities. Unknown if any paralysis at this point. Owen is 20. Was leaving in March for Marines.

    Good Morning All
    Crap on a Cracker it's cold, -29
And the forcast for the weekend is 40s and rain.
We haven't had any problems with the vehicles starting. Told the wife to turn everything off before starting, especially the heated seats.

    Everyone have a great/safe day.

Good morning. It's a blustery 50* in this desert winter wonderland. Dragging my feet this morning. Can't do anything at work till a couple different places open to pick up some parts. So a 2nd cup of coffee will be in order before trudging through the drifted sand on the driveway.

I hope that lad recovers well and will be able to follow his plan even if it is delayed a little.

End of the month paperwork needs to be completed and turned in today. House committee micro-management nit pickers meeting at 4:30. Joy. Then board meeting at 6PM. Further joy. Will be a long day.

Just got another phone call. My cousin's house burnt to the ground last night. Gene is OK, but has lost everything. He managed to get his dogs out before any harm came to them. Planning on driving down late day tomorrow. Gene is close to my size. I'm taking him as much winter clothes as I can spare. He's found a place to stay, so that's covered for now.
