I can't stop carving corners. There is no other cheap thrill like it.

A friend and I want to pick up Enduros, but the used prices have surged and mods and kids are sucking way the fun money.

That is exactly what we are looking at just for old man puttering torque. There were two new 450X for sale with just a few rides on them. We're still kicking ourselves about those.

    You stay safe also!

A gun to my head and threats to my family.

Nothing will force me to buy a brand new vehicle let alone one as grossly over priced as a new Tacoma.

If mine was totalled today I would be searching for a 2012-2014 Spruce Mica DCLB TRD Sport.
    Or a used F150.

That’s just silly talk. Overpriced would mean that it isn’t worth the money, and resale value will say that is a non issue. Plus... If you actually know how to negotiate you can be even with value vs. sale price before leaving the lot. What’s overpriced is used Tacoma’s!

If you don’t like the 3rd gen just say so, but buying a new Tacoma is not a bad thing compared to buy a used one. Don’t you want the be the first and only to fart in your seat for God’s sake???

I plan to wait and see if there are any improvements and then see, I have had good luck with my 2016 Off Road so far. I thinking with the more competition coming out may be Toyota will wise up !! 23754900_1488684007864035_1946742610216491046_n.jpg

A brand new Tacoma DCLB Sport IMO is not worth a dime over $30k.

If you think I can negotiate that... thats silly talk.

I’m not paying that for a midsize truck hardly capable of much. I’ll pay $40k for a full size that has double the payload, triple the towing capacity, and can fit a family comfortably.

If I had to buy a new Tacoma today I’d like to spend less and pocket the extra.

And no I don’t have a desire to buy new. A lot of wasted money.
    If I want a 3rd Gen (which I don’t) a 2016 is much cheaper than a 2020

I don’t give two shits if you know how to negotiate. That’s up to you to figure out. I was saying that if people actually know how to negotiate you can get a good price.

I suggest you go find a 2nd gen that has an unknown history then because I would feel much more comfortable buying new. Best bang for the buck and better resale value than an older 2nd gen. I got my 17 OR manual with 2 miles on it for 32,500 so I didn’t over pay in the least. If you pay near $40k for a Tacoma it’s because of useless add ons which I would never do.

The Pro is something I’m strongly against because I think it’s way overpriced for what you get. Also, most full size trucks have low mileage even compared to our trucks (which don’t have the best mpg anyway).

You do realize though that this thread was asking what it would take for you to buy a 2020, not if you didn’t buy a 2020 and didn’t have a gun to your family’s heads what would you get???

I get what you are saying and that’s why it’s great to be an American because we can do and buy whatever we want. Merica!!!
