What kind of discount did you get off MSRP. I have been starting at the bottom SR models on cars.com and finding some witth discounts around $2500 off MSRP but was wondering if there is a chance to get a bigger discount off higher priced specs.

I believe the MSRP was $37,7k. Going off of memory here. They came down almost 3k right away. Then I got a good trade in value and got them to take a little bit more off the truck. I think you just have to try your luck at various dealerships and see who is willing to deal, and if you have a trade in, what they’re willing to give you.

In north east (NJ) is the $500 rebate expiring tomorrow? I was about $400 apart on buying the truck I want yesterday. I think we can likely close that gap tomorrow but just wanted to to make sure if we didnt get it dont tomorrow I was not going to be $500 more apart. It does seem like whatever they have is expriing but not sure if a new rebate is taking its place

if you are really concerned with that $500 it would be easier to ask the dealer to throw in a tonneau cover for free than to lose a deal. granted most decent installed covers come in around $500 dealer cost to the customer but its about 2-300$ dollars less actual cost to throw one of those in.

I came up the $500 yesterday. It was still a very good deal that multiple other dealers couldnt match. That being said, I do kind of like the OEM cover. Is that something that could be bought later or is that only sold with new?

stay away from the oem cover unless you like a tri-fold hard cover.

Has anyone received employee pricing on the Tacoma? Is it less or more than invoice pricing?

I called Costco auto asking what their price is in comparison to invoice and they could not say.

I’m seeking a no option 19 TRD Off Road Manual. Currently $36k is msrp and $33.3k is invoice. I would like to get it down to $34-35k otd.

I picked up a Silver 2018 DCSB TRD Offroad 4x4 automatic for $34,608 in October last year. It had 10 miles when I picked it up. $37,200 out the door with no trade in. I think I was given a $1500 year end rebate from toyota which was included in the final price. I am actually looking to trade it in for a manual TRD offroad 4x4. No one in the Houston area seemed to have one at the time.

Hey guys just went and test drove an Off Road 4x4 model and wanted to know if the price offered is good before I pull the trigger. I haven't done any negotiation yet but they offered it to me for $35,741.00 plus tax & License here in Los Angeles. They have the truck listed for $38,958.00 plus taxes/License.

I'm thinking of asking for $35k Out the door (taxes and licenses included instead).

The truck in question is 2019 Off Road 4x4 Cement Automatic.
It has the Tech package, All weather floor mats, TRD exhaust tip, Dealer installed door edge guards and dealer installed security system. (Total options cost on the sticker says $1,248.00

    Thoughts? Thank you!

I think $35k out the door (taxes and licenses included) is a bit ambitious. Taxes alone in California will run you about $2,600. I too am looking for the exact same truck you are, down to the color. The lowest I have seen offered is $34k and that includes their dealer fees & accessory costs, but does not taxes and licenses. And that $34k was for a very basic Off Road version with no accessories except floor mats.

If you are able to secure that truck for $35k including taxes and licenses let me know and I'll make the drive up from San Diego and buy one with you!

I ended up making the deal. Not for $35k OTD though. As you said I underestimated the taxes & licensing fees but they were gracious enough to throw in another $1k on the buy out of my car.

Got my 19 cement with prem tech 4x4 all weather and oval steps for 37,800 including fees but not taxes. Taxes here in MO will be another $1200. I thought it was pretty good. 3800 off MSRP plus 1000 rebate. No trade in.

Adding another data point as a new owner and new member!

Just got my new 2019 Super White TRD Off Road DCLB with no option packages for $35,900 before taxes and fees. Truck came with all weather floor mats, bed step, and door edge guards from the dealership. Dealer claimed this was about $1k below invoice but I question that a bit based on posts in this thread. Had to deal with 2 different levels of sales management to get approval on this price, but we got it done. I also traded in my 09 WRX Hatch as part of the deal, and they gave me $8,400 on the trade-in. Financed at 1.9% for 60mo through the promo deal Toyota is offering for May 2019.

2019 Cement TRD Sport 2WD DCSB with Premium Package (orange accent dashboard, heated leather seats, JBL speakers, moonroof, etc.), Predator Tube Steps, Rough Country tri-fold bed cover, blackout badges, and all-weather floor mats for $35,500 out the door (all taxes, license, and fees included). Disclaimer: The truck was technically used (1,200 miles on the odometer - guy bought it in March and traded it back in May).

I did months of research and haggling with dealerships. Many of the dealerships were offering $1,000 cash back (after taxes and license - so you pay taxes on a higher amount) or 1.9% financing over 60 months. It was exhausting to constantly get a quote and later find out that didn't include the accessory fees already installed on the truck. If you're doing your research or shopping around between dealerships, I recommend getting an V-spec or "out the door" price so you aren't surprised with added fees when you get to the dealership.

If you're looking for a 2019 TRD OR 4x4 specifically, the best out the door price I was offered was about $38k (7.75% sales tax).

My best offer was $32,528 on a $36,328 msrp. With ttl it was just under $36k otd. It was 700 miles away so I waited and it has since sold but deals can be had.

I believe deals will get slightly better as the 2020 start to hit lots. That being said if I find a local $32.5k again I’ll jump.
