Leave the fender and keep an eye out for a part out?

I think it would be cheaper to buy a used fender in the correct color code, swap it yourself:

Good call on just replacing the fender. Called http://www.ranchotoyotatruckparts.com/ and they are $200 for a fender w/ flare but they only had blue. I can swap that shit out so I just have to do some searching to find the right color.

Thanks everyone, really glad I asked

Morgan @sidetracked hooked up a great deal on an apex bumper with IFS that I couldn't pass up. It came in quick too and just dropped it off to be powder coated. I'll post pics when its installed.

Yes. You need to trim the fenders and the fender flares. Im ll post up some pics shortly to show you. But other than that it's all plastic trimming no metal removal. You can see in this picture how far up we cut to install it. 20190107_171306.jpg

fuck. i want a bumper like that, but cutting my fender and flares seems so out of my league... i was rear ended on the freeway last week, luckily i had my bike rack in the hitch and the lady only bent the rack, didn't destroy it. insurance is sending me money for new rack and to get my frame evaluated, and im going to buy a rear bumper instead of a new rack, and just replace the bent pieces of my rack which is tougher than i thought! go one up usa!

Bad luck man! But honestly it not too bad to cut it up. Just start lower on the fenders, use tape to make your line and go a little at a time. You'll test fit the bumper quite a few times but it'll eventually fit nice and even. Remember you can always take plastic off but not put it back on there. :sawzall:
If you take your time it'll turn out good.
