Would you be willing to sell the passenger side compartment?

I took this approach to keeping the dogs in the rear seat. It can be taken out or reinstalled in about three minutes after the first install getting everything positioned just so.

Super disappointed in this truck on the interstate. I'm gonna OV tune it. If that doesnt work its gonna be traded in. Worst transmission I've ever ran.

Apparently downhill at 80 in 4th is an acceptable scenario

None yet, chomping at the bit for the first one.
Skid plate installed after three coats of Herculiner. Had a friend help me with this one.

Baja Designs Squadrons installed. It took me a minute to figure out the wiring harness and adaptors. Installed through the hood method.

Rotopax installed, going to go with 2 EA 2 Gallon gas pax with an extender.

    Cali Raised Sliders ordered.

On the fence regarding Herculining my sliders or powder coating them. On the way to work this morning I was thinking of doing a hybrid. A little Herculiner on top of the sliders for stepping grip.

i have overcome a lot of my complaints by putting the truck into S6 and driving it like that.

    Running 285s aren't you?

I put 255/85r16s on a few weeks ago and am getting about 15 MPG with them on the highway; can get about 19 driving below 50 on backroads. Both corrected for 8% size diff.

The added weight of the tires is pretty noticeable, but that's to be expected.

    Maybe OVTune and regear? $$$$$$$$$$$

Same in MT. I have an AT and I don’t get it, never had a problem with needing more power then I’ve needed. Maybe I got the only good transmission they had?

I think it's really hit or miss, depending on TSB updates and what not. Mine upshifted early when I first got it but after the TSB it drives like a "normal" transmission, even with 58lb 33" tires.

Thanks. It's from SOS Offroad Concepts.

I have an OEM roof rack and the Smittybilt Defender 45454 on a SOS Offroad CONCEPTS aluminum bed rack from @EddyRRT's shop in SC. I had the bed rack custom sized in height and I took my time finding the proper basket so that it sits flush with the OEM roof rack when the arms are deployed.

    My $0.02:

If you go offroad they will scratch and it will be a pain to retouch. Best is to spray paint them I think. For stepping grip I bought some heavy duty rubber strips from Harbour Freight and used epoxy and painters tape to hold them it place while it dried. It's been almost 4 months now and they still look great.

i was really referring to the 85mph speed limit.

and yeah, its pretty flat in south TX (the coastal plains), but that is only 1/5 of the state. If you have lived here, you know we have mountains (nothing like the Rocky's or Appalachians) in west Texas, and hills in central Texas, and just about every other type of terrain there is in the US.
where i live there are small hills.

No offense taken. but you cant judge TX by Conroe... lol

I like this a lot! Did you remove the self adhesive before applying epoxy? Heat gun to help shape? I love these treads and had them all over my boat. Never crossed my mind to stick them on tubes.

    Thank you !

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Hah! I've done my share of traveling through the South. Don't know how I managed it, but I seemed to always find myself stopping for the night in a dry county. They should put road signs warning travelers about that sort of thing! Learned to pack my own liquid refreshment. Great way to make fast friends, too.
