Or better yet, put a deposit on the Pro and then wait until next week! The deposits are usually 100% refundable, but double check if you do go that route :)

I'd wait until the 7th to see what's upcoming for the refresh. I was in your same shoes and decided to hold off just the other day.

I'm thinking, from what (little) I've seen on here and looking at online Pro's, that's a pretty killer deal! Hell, my '18 TRD Off Road4x4 with tech package and some small extras was $40k. What area of the country are you in? I see huge "market adjustments" adding thousands just because on the west coast...

I have exactly what you are looking at. I love it, but have seen in several different locations of a possible 4cyl 2.8l diesel option. That will basically fix this AT issue and give this truck some much needed low end power. If I only needed to wait a week for confirmation that is certainly what I would do.

Btw, I got mine for 43k so 42k is the best deal I have seen on a brand new 18 pro.

Manual or AT? Seems like a cavalry should be discounted by now since the 19s are out and it would be a 18. If its an AT thats not bad.

you have no guarantee the seats will be better, or even different, aside from the news of powered seats.

i'm about 6'2" and it was the most uncomfortable vehicle i ever sat in. but that didn't put me off. $200 hired an upholstery shop to customize my seat and now it's the second most comfortable seat i own and can drive for hours. before i had 90 minutes max before my right leg would go numb, every single drive. it was horrible.

I'd buy the 18 Pro and wait. You know how it performs and you'll likely get a better deal. But I won't buy the first year of a new model (assuming there's a new model/major changes in the pipeline in 2020). Made that mistake once on a Heep and I ended up trading in for a Tacoma one year later. Best choice I've made.

    *Not to thread jack*
I'm the same height and have some issues with the seats as well. What did they do to help improve? Was it just a contour / comfort thing, or more of a height adjust in the actual seat part to help fit your taller frame more ergonomically?

there is no room to drop the seat position via the brackets, but you can carve out foam from the bottom to create a bucket and drop your butt. the changed everything for me, all i needed was a bucket for a natural seating position.

I think looking from that video of the seat that it can actually go lower than the standard manual seat.

This might be some heat for some, but i think they should make a law that if you're under the age of 25 you only qualifiy to drive a MT.

I'm 6'4" and in the 1%(Liking seats) but with a slight recline the seats are perfectly comfortable for me,
is the seating position a little cozy?...yes, but not uncomfortable in any way, just no issues with the seats for me
