Good on SPC for honoring that warranty no questions asked on an item like that. Good company

Just got an email from toytec, they said “it’s a seven year old part, we’ll see”. (About the warranty)

Glad they got that resolved for you.

For what it's worth, the new SPC arms are fully forged and crazy strong. Hopefully that's what the send you.

Good to hear SPC is replacing your arms. I had issues last year with my new ones (bad passenger ball joint and bushing) and SPC replaced it. In my case it wasn't clear in photos what was wrong, so I needed to remove my UCA's, send it in, then wait for a replacement. I was willing to forgo the warranty process if I could've just bought the ball joint and bushings. Unfortunately the bushings weren't available. In the meantime, I bought Total Chaos since their parts are more available. Sold the SPC's for a deal locally.

Toytec now does sell the new bushings and ball joints separately if needed.

These are the New Camberg kinetic Arms
They seem bomb proof. If you have the extra money this could be the last set you ever have to buy.

Those things look rediculous!! Like the screw in cap on top. Seems easy but no one ever did it.

The info you provided about SPC's in your build thread is the reason I ended up going with those. Thanks

As a mater of fact I did read the thread! I wanted to give the OP another option. I'm not sure I would put a part that failed back on my vehicle. But that's up to the OP.
Its nice to have options and there are lots of them out there!

hopefully toytec is sending you the updated spc arms

just for fun try calling spc customer service directly, they are very receptive over the phone, I would not be surprised if they offered to send you their updated arms free of charge free shipping either...

After that kind of failure, I'd hesitate before putting those back on my truck. I guess it's fine if you don't have the truck for more than 5 years.
