Shell for 2004 and 2007 tacoma the same??

    Saw a ARE shell for a Tacoma 1995-2004 on local CL for a great price - Would it fit a 2007 Tacoma long bed also? CL description says "Tacoma 1995-2004 Toyota for a regular size bed." - I have a 2007 long bed, but the image below looks to be close to the same size.

    Nope, 1st gens (up to 2004) aren't as wide or as long as 2nd gens (2005+).

    The beds might be close assuming you have a short bed (1st gens only came with a 6ft bed or a 5.5ft bed) but it definitely won't be an exact fit. Too narrow most likely.

    .......and if you have an Access or DBL. cab the angle of the rear of the cab is different than 2 gen. single cabs.
