I owned a Ram 1500 Limited. Loved it, until a parking sensor broke and took 5 visits to the dealer and they couldn't fix it, so it got traded fast. I realized that they put so much new tech in their trucks that the service department doesn't know how to fix half of it.

Appears to be a full size “award” and comparison... Tundra not mentioned, which is understandable given the full size options.

The 2019 Ram is a masterpiece, complete redesign.

The Tacoma is badly dated (cab, frame, suspension form 2005) and it shows when compared to modern competition. Tundra is similar 2007 underneath the 2019 skin.

My '03 Tundra with 277k miles sold to a friend a few months ago. It was outdated; however, never gave a lick of problems, did what it was supposed to do and the new owner is ecstatic !

The Tundra is about 15 years out of date. No wonder Toyota doesn't want people to cross shop.

Still, Toyota is the only company to make a pickup where most of it will still run fine after 200k miles.

If you own most any Toyota vehicle, the technology is going to likely be 'out of date' compared to much of the competition. But while your friends new technically sophisticated truck is in the shop working out gremlins, your Tacoma wont be. That is what Toyota does - they never adopt the most recent technology right away. That is what helps supports the resale value. I will take a Tacoma over a Dodge any day. I know what Dodge is about.

I find lots of these "tests" these days are all about electronic do-dads and infotainment screens. I would be hard pressed to buy anything dodge.

I'd still buy the Tundra over the Ram. And the Silverado/Sierra. F-150 and Titan? Hmmm not sure.

new rams look like dog shit, the design team over at chev was drunk and high making the new Silverado, some how the sierra came out alright. still would buy a ford over all of the above though. didn't know they had a diesel option for the f150 now that's neat.
