Oh ya good idea. I'll check OfferUp, LetGo, craiglist... I always forget that's an option

More features, it’s quieter and faster. All in all the cheaper ones will do most of what the more expensive ones will do sometimes just not as well.

If you go with buying it second hand make sure you test it out. They have seals and stuff in them and they can go bad or dry out from just sitting. Then you have to get parts and fix if you can. Not saying it’s not a good deal but if it happens no instant gratification. :)

I also didn’t pay $200 for it I got it on sale and used a 20% off coupon I had.

I may settle for a new Costco one. We saw one there the other day it was like $62. Plus it's Costco so if it goes bad take it back get a new one!

I like the food saver brand. Been using them for 12+ years now and I’ve only killed one to date and it was my own stupidity. :)

Finally felt like getting out of the house today. Weather turned out nice as well. A couple of Del Monico’s followed me home. Marinating for a bit before hitting the charcoal.

    Marinade looks tasty...what is it?

Also, I’m not gonna fake it! I googled Delmonico steak. :bananadead:

That's what we picked up from Costco for around $130. Came with accessories for containers and jars. As well as stopper to reseal wine that we'll never have a use for. An open bottle of wine doesn't last long here.

A small portion of Dales marinade spread over the surface with the back of a spoon, garlic salt and fresh ground black pepper.

I was just at Target and they had stuff that said "accesory" for the models. Was wondering what accessories you could possibly have with a food saver lol.

They make some vacuum seal bowls and canisters. I actually keep my PF rub in one. I use the larger square one I’ve had for years I use it when I marinate meats. Toss them in there with the marinade toss a vacuum on it and it cuts the time down.

Honestly some of the best steaks I’ve ever done. Never claimed to be an expert, but these didn’t suck...

I suck at plated presentation, even rarely have any sides, but felt the need to show the “innerards” of these. Pay zero attention to the mashed new baby red taters in the peripheral.

I started smoking, or ruining cheese, some 30 years ago. Things I've learned: Pay attention and turn, turn, turn. If it starts melting into the grate, take it off. Cool it in the frig and your frig will smell like smoke for a week, don't do that. What you can do is buy the right cheese that holds up to smoking. You still have to keep an eye on it though.
My go to: Hoffman Super sharp Cheddar, and Wisconsin Hot Pepper Cheese. Pay attention to the brand name. other brands may or may not achieve the desired result. I've had 'grate sliced' cheese laying in the bottom of my smoker. Not good.
Cherry wood smoke goes well with cheese. Good luck!

Fuck if I know? Had a set from a million years ago, found another set at a yard sale for basically nothing. Bought those. Now, I have a metric fuck ton (that’s a lot) of them. Wifey hates them
, and have nicer stuff. But I’m fairly certain I don’t care. Seems @coldiron knew something about them?

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
For cheese, I’d rest two weeks at minimum.
