Its so good to think that us pre 2019 trd PRO plebs without a sunroof will never have to deal with faulty mechanisms leaks, plugged drains etc. Plus that cathedral height head liner!

Something to think about if you keep vehicles long term.

You see how his knee hit the steering wheel, as he gets in... That's sucks, wish they would flatten out the bottom of it. Nissan rogue has a flat bottom steering wheel, makes it so much easier to get in and out. That's my major bitch about seating in these trucks.

I would wait. The only way the power seat would benefit me is if it adjust's lower than the current manual one. I doubt it does. The other issue is the steering wheel needs to telescop further out.

Try Toyota USA FB. It’s there.

My unbiased train of thought has concluded you should get the ‘18. But then again, they may be paper weights once the ‘20s come out 7CED3F12-D5A8-4AE2-A851-D39A8A9D956E.jpg

Yeah I think I'll go for it. Drive it for a year and if the 2020 is worth it, trade up.

I'm betting the 2020 will only have upgraded, headlights, grille, and power seat. Kind of like the 18 Tundra got (headlight's, grille, TSS) certain models.

We all still love the 1st gens and would take one any day. I'd say you really can't go wrong with a pro taco and I wouldn't wait. It's not gonna be a totally different truck. Its not time for the 4th gen yet.

Seriously, I don't often hear people regret not buying the dated stuffs over the trendy one. Kinda like take fugly Mom now knowing there's cute chick show up at the bar.

It’s too early to make that decision , You only have a silhouette of a front end.
First step will be Toyota will show a teaser of the truck at the New York auto show but give no specifications. you have to wait till closer to September to get all the specifications on the 2020 model. Then you can make an informed decision and decide if you want the new one or the old one. Anything other than that is strictly guessing

The Rav4, looks good now, the last few years, it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on it way down. Haven't seen one in person yet, but wasn't it just the front end they changed? Rest of it the same?

That's why I'm thinking just a few updates on Tacoma.

I think I'm jumping ship. The new Jeep Gladiator mall crawler about to come out. Hope my '16 Taco resale is decent.
    How's this for a concept Toyota???

Man after my experience with Ram 1500 Limited. I'll never buy another Chrysler product again.

Count me in on the Gladiator, I think my Toyota access cab might have its days numbered. I have a 2019 JL Rubicon and I love it I know the quality is not Toyota but I don’t really care I like it that much the aftermarket support and the fact that you can customize it so much it’s just so appealing and it really drives great power is awesome I’m sold.

My Dad had a 2013 Ram. It came decked out with everything. Ride like a dream. But then transmission rebuilt at 150k would cost as much as the truck resale. He sold it for $2000 to the next sucker.
I would only lease a Jeep. Warranty over they can have it.

On mine, the sensors went out. 5 trips to the dealer and they couldn't fix it. That's when I realized they put so much shit in these trucks that their service dept doesn't even know how to fix it.
