Currently in my non Toyota it is open with a good sized toolbox.

 

Open or rack depending on if I’m camping or not.

How easy to remove is all of that? I’m always looking for easy on/off solutions as the need dictates.

Cap life is the best life if you’re not regularly hauling large items. Having dry, locking storage is so damn convenient.

 

Right now mine is an open flatbed, but I am switching back to the stock long bed, with a 5 ft decked drawer system, a aux fuel tank up front, and a lietner designs rack with solar panel and traction devices

I have Bed Bars in mine, they make great mounts for my bike rack but also use them for ladders and wood.

 

At this time:

Shell/Decked Draw System

Next to my truck is the tonneau cover next to that is the bed/basket rack and above that is the tent!

 

I cut my own bed mat to fit on top of the decked system. It works awesome!

 

8 nuts for the RTT, 4 more for the rack. Generally if you’re planning to do that people set up a hoist like for a Jeep hardtop or shell and just lift it as a unit. I have the steel rack rather than aluminum and combined with the tent it’s about 200 pounds.
The DECKED system is about 200 and it’s not coming out easily. Two mounting plates up front each with three bolts and a J hook on each side in the back. Plus you would have to remove the drawers and split it back into halves again.
