I use safeway though....

 

Trader Joes is an awesome place to work too if you're lucky enough to get hired there. They pay really well. Managers make 6 figures a year.

 

I prefer Maersk over Cosco. Hapag-Lloyd gets an honorable mention.

I go there for some stuff...can't beat how cheap they are. Their alcohol selection sucks though. And holy hell the lowest common denominator of every town's citizens are inside of a Wal Mart at any given time. Going there after dark is always fun

Doesn't make it untrue. Most grocery stores you'd be lucky to earn above minimum wage and even luckier to get a full time shift. They start well above min wage give benefits to all employees. Most grocery stores in CA don't treat employees well at all

 

Same story goes for Costco. They treat their employees very well. Great pay and benefits too.

 

True I knew a guy that worked in their warehouse and made decent money compared to similar jobs at other stores.

 

My best friend got a job at trader Joe's and it honestly is one of the best places he can work while working on his degree

 

Their corporate office is here in Monrovia, if I ever get canned that's where I'm sending my first application while I look for another job lol.

 

$100k is the poverty line in San Francisco.

 

If you don't notice the Wal-martians, you may be one!
