Got my cross stitch back from framing yesterday; glad I convinced the lady to use a blue mat board instead of a brown one

well Im getting better...what a PIA to put together. I still got some issues, one I made my planing jig thingy and most of it was going good then for some reason it just dug in and twisted my router causing some major dips I sanded down mostly smooth. But Im still not happy with the fact 95% of it worked great then right in the middle it gouged the crap out of it. Both sides did the same thing one side not as bad as the other. Maybe I was taking too much of a swipe off at one time?

And some of the bricks arent aligned

Also I put a couple coats of salad bowl finish on it, needs more obviously. It's soaking it up on the end grains quite a bit.

I made a onesie like that a while back. I had never heard of that saying till then. The lady that used to live across the street from me decided one day to go into business with a home embroidery machine and it broke on her. She asked me if I could make something like this. Said sure can.

    Digitizing the design:

    1281FB74-BB7F-4D0E-894B-1BFFF76FBE17.jpg

    Test stitch:

    C4C1B525-8786-4B58-9D6A-3223EE5C8DC0.jpg

Never took a pic of the onesie.

Then again I don't do a lot of baby stuff anyway. Most of my stuff is business related embroidery on jackets or things like that.

We made a pinewood derby car last week too. My son ended up winning 3rd place with it. I thought the graphite gave it a cool look on the top and on the wheels.
