Looks like mine, I like your idea of replacing the cross piece.

Mines bent up too...it's not a very strong part, only takes a few good rock smacks to the skidplate to make that piece bend

Yeah, I imagine so. I don't think that happened to mine tho, I think it's related to the bent up frame horn on the passenger side.

Mine was bent up and tweaked as well, I used a chunk of flat bar and bolted it to where the recover hooks go.

Working on the front cover design for my center console swap. Since I can’t locate a factory piece, might as well be resourceful and try to design and print a custom one ;)

I pulled my liner out, and painted all of the floor and walls with axle grease before putting it back in, first time 13 years ago, again about 4 years back. Kept it from rusting.

That's the thing, the frame damage is on the section that the frame hook bolts to. I don't know if I'll be able to get the rear bolt started to possible pull the frame down there. Worth a shot I guess.

I’m from New Jersey owned the truck for 17 years, bed liner since day 1. We get lots of road salt in the winter and this truck was my beach driving truck for 4 years while I lived near AC. I’ve had the frame replaced under the rust recal but the bed is mostly still perfect. Had the bed liner off last weekend.

With the Champion radiator my temps even with the supercharger in summer run 184-190,

I did flip the thermostat to the 12 position just for curiosity and the temp did go up to 195-200.

So I definitely know there is a temp difference for my truck with the two positions.

That funnel I have also, makes it a snap.
Also make sure the heater valve is open so the heater core gets filled too.

I had a new radiator I had just installed because of the cheap plastic cracking again and about two months later found the champion radiator, So I replaced the oem radiator with the aluminum one.
The new stock radiator temps with the supercharger were 195-200.
The champion radiator temps are 185-190.
And hopefully will not have to deal with another cracked radiator issue

Same. Mine was installed at 12, ran between 200-204. Flipped it to 6 now it’s 186-193.

Did you have to add a lfit kit or spacers to fit those? If no, is there any rubbing?

Probably not gonna get a reply from @dmz1241 on this post. He hasn’t been on TW in about 6 years. If you click on their name it’ll usually show last time they were on. 2013 for him.

I’d just take em off the truck, clean em up with something, tape of the tire and go nuts, lots of thin layers.

Any sort of plasti dip would work I’d imagine

This is worth reading. Covers what you need to do for different tire sizes: What size tires fit my Tacoma?

Was planning on changing my oil and throwing my rebuilt Kings on today. Never had adjustable coilovers before so a little new to this so may need a little guidance.

Right now they have 650# coils and one has 5 threads showing and the other 4 threads showing. I'm guessing these should net me about 2 inches in their current setup? I was going to put the 5 thread one on the driver side to help with some taco lean. Am I way off on this guess?
