I hope all the extra things I have installed will hold everything together. I installed a heavy duty front out put shaft and EOS extreme duty cradle.
Toyota rear axle is a center diff and the Land Cruiser is passenger side diff so everything is lined up like it should be.

84 Toyota truck front axle 55.5, Land Cruiser rear axle 58.3, 2.8 inch difference
Using wheels with 4 inch backspacing on rear and 2.5 on the front, 3 inch difference.
So there will be a .2 inch difference.

 

In 2wd it will be a stock engine samurai with 4.10s and 35s?

 

High Range reduction is 20% lower too.
I have been running it on 33s with 3.73 gears so 35s and 4.10s should be ok, I want win any top end races but if it holds together I can climb a tree in low.

My truck with Dakars and overloads removed rides much smoother than @TheTacoma with same springs but still has overloads.

My camper shell gives me a little preload weight too and that helps.

If I start towing though they are going back in.

 

Got a tube bumper for a Nissan Pathfinder built tonight with my buddy. He’s going to the doing the finish welding at his house with his TIG machine and add a few more support tubes since I’m letting him borrow the notcher for a couple days. I’m happy with how it turned out. No Solidworks this time, just educated guess work.

 

I’m pretty sure they both have an overload. The heavy pack is the medium pack with an AAL

It's Friday, woo hoo! Wife and I are taking off to Cloudland Canyon park for the weekend to do some backcountry hiking and camping. Can't wait, this is a long-awaited, much-needed trip!

 

Cabinet guy came up with a rendering of how the kitchen will roughly look/be layed out. Things to note is that there will be 2 columns, 1 on each end of the island. The island will have an overhang of about 1 foot for barstool seating, and the cabinets on the wall are not as far from the window on the right as the rendering makes them look, there is only about 2 feet there.

 

do you have closet pantry, or will you need big cabinets to act as a pantry?

 

the cabinets by the fridge will be used mainly for pantry/food storage. the space is not large enough to also incorporate a pantry sadly.

 

So much room for activities...

 

not as spacious as it looks, but it will be much better than the existing. the kitchen dimensions are 16ft x 10ft
